Diplomatic Community 70th Anniversary Bazaar in New Delhi

On February 4, the 32nd Diplomatic Charity Fair was held in New Delhi, jointly organized by the Diplomatic Community and the Delhi Commonwealth Women’s Association. About 30 diplomatic representations and about 20 Indian companies participated in the fair, including the Armenian Embassy in India. The Armenian pavilion presented samples of handmade art, silver jewellery, dishes of national cuisine, informative booklets about Armenia and other materials. During the day, Ambassadors accredited to India, diplomats, representatives of the political, educational, cultural spheres, journalists and the spouse of the External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar visited the Armenian pavilion. Ms. Kioko Jaishankar was particularly interested in the handicrafts presented in the Armenian pavilion.

The employees of the Embassy of Armenia presented Mrs. Jaishankar with an Armenian souvenir and a collection of maps by renowned geographer and cartographer Ruben Galichyan presenting the 2600-year history of Armenia's borders, published in English by "Zangak" publishing house in 2022.
